Pia Grimbühler

Biography

After obtaining her photography diploma in 1998, Pia worked as a freelance photographer in Italy for several years before going on to study Marketing and Media Management at the Schule für Gestaltung in Bern. Fascinated by the diversity of Mediterranean food, she started to specialise in food photography as well as still life and portraits. Since then, Pia has regularly provided photographs to accompany editorials and articles in magazines as well as for advertisements.

Her photographic studio, a spacious loft, is equipped with a professional kitchen that satisfies all requirements, both gastronomic and photographic. The vast stock of props, an almost inexhaustible source of backdrops, decorations, china, cutlery and much more, represents an equally important part of my infrastructure.

Pia is known as someone who is sensitive to new trends, who is curious and innovative and, last but not least, who has an exceptional network of contacts with internationally active stylists.
